Just doing my research on some Buddyclub P1 Racing Plus II wheels for my EK4.

Ideally they should be 7" wide and +40 offset, but the Buddyclub wheels are 17x7.5 and +42 offset :zip: They might stick out of the gaurds a bit?

I'd like to know if anyone has the same size wheels and whether they rub on the gaurds or not.

Thanks heaps in advance guys.

hmmm, look

i dont have these wheels on

but IMO, ther shoodnt be a problem

but im pretty sure it will be close

like, it may be really really close, lol, without doing the proper calculations....i cant tell u exactly

but i reckon with the correct tyre on, it SHOULD be fine,

Yeh, that's what i'm thinking... maybe have to do a bit of tyre stretch.

Hmmm, or possibly settle for something different :(

well when comparing it to a 7in +40 wheel, the 7.5in +42 wheel will have 8mm less inner clearance and it will extend and extra 4mm.

At least on my EG, there was a fair amount of clearance that i could see when I used to run 17x7 +40 wheels. Unsure about EK, but afaik there is slightly more clearance - feel free to correct me if this isnt right. If your running 205/40 series rubber, it SHOULD be ok like krogoth said

What suspension setup do you have?

4mm isnt that much of a diff to your existing wheels. Maybe go and check with a ruler how much further they'd stick out. And if you're really worried about it maybe tub the guards slightly?
