when i change from drums to disks do i need to change lower control arms aswell.

no its the same.

but you do need the correct trailing arms , plus the correct handbrake cables to suit.

yes you can.

front = get EK4 or EK9 front control arms , and then you can fit a EK4 or EK9 swaybar.

rear = get a ASR brace , BEAKS kit , whiteline kit etc and you can fit a compatible swaybar.
