REMOVING EG VTi Steering wheel...help!!!!

can any1 tell me how to take the steering wheel off my EG VTi?

i dont think it has an airbag.........

but how can i be 100% sure?

it should say SRS airbag on ur wheel man. Also an SRS red light should come on when you start your car..

if you haven't got air bag, do this,

take of h emblem, it just pops off

use ratchet or the sort to undo bolt in there

Pull wheel off.

jus take the H emblem off the middle of the wheel? then undo the bolt and thats it?

they made them really safe at honda.... no steering wheel puller needed.

Mate don't undo the nut all the way (ie. don't take it off).

First just loosen it a fair bit, then pull at the wheel so it becomes loose (sometimes it takes quite lot of force to take it out) so if the nut is removed you shall suffer like I did.

Once the wheel is loose, take the nut off and slip the wheel off.

Reason I say this is cause I never learnt the first time when I took a wheel off, and managed to do this a second time..... 1st time hit myself in the head with the wheel.... saw a few :star: :star: :star: :o then got a big fat lip the second time ... every wheel I have taken off since then I do the way I mentioned!
