Clearcoat for Amber Lens?

Ok wtfuk, we were doing the amber corner with amber dye and some acrylic laquer clear coat.
my mate didn't like it, thought we did it to dark and we scratched it off.

we had a black honda badge (painted) and we sprayed the clear coat on it.

then it dried white? is that supposed 2 be? did we buy the wrong kind of clear coat

also did u spray too much of the clear coat because u are suppose to do it layer by layer not pack it on.

definitely . I done the same with my badge, and it came out yellow. Be subtle with the shit, as said before, don't pile it on!

The world isn't ending in 20 seconds so be patient with it and it'll come out good!
