Guys,

Im after a tyre plackard for Accord Euro - One that states 18" rims as stock.

Do you know if any euro or accords come out with that?? or a plackard that may help?

Thanks

No Euros came out with 18s.stock.Lux models come with 17s.

Earlier euros were all 16"
Later euros were 16" base, and 17" Lux / Sports.

Did you get defected? The vehicle check place will check redbook or another source for the vehicles factory specs, replacing the plakard wont help.

NSW rules are:
*The wheel track must not be increased by more than
25mm from stock
*The rim width must not exceed 26mm from the stock rim
*The overall diameter must not exceed 15mm from stock

Anything larger, you will need to get an engineering certificate.

NSW rules are:
*The wheel track must not be increased by more than
25mm from stock, so basically you can only go 1inch above stock
*The rim width must not exceed 26mm from the stock rim
*The overall diameter must not exceed 15mm from stock

Anything larger, you will need to get an engineering certificate.

Actually, the first one says wheel track, so the combo of offset and rim width must result in a wheel track no more than 25mm wider than stock.

So it doesn't say that you cannot have 20" rims as long as you keep the track, width and rolling diameter within the rules listed above.

yep, rolling diamater ( rim and tyre ) no more then 15mm so yes u can have bigger rims and lower profile tyres legally. i kept the RTA guide printed in my glove box when i had 17's on my crx. argued a few times and won, but lost when they tried to get my car over the rta pits and they couldnt becos it was to low...lol

So it doesn't say that you cannot have 20" rims as long as you keep the track, width and rolling diameter within the rules listed above.

You would then only have to convince a tyre manufacturer to specially make a 20" tyre with the right overall diameter: 175/35R20, 185/35R20, 205/30R20, 215/30R20, 245/25R20 or 255/25R20. None of these sizes exist!
