hey guys, just got some n+ on the teg and i know its 15 way adjustment.

in the instructions it says there maybe 16 - 18 clicks in the whole thing.

how would i set this up correctly, go all the way soft then count up from there? or go all the way hard (find out how many clicks there are) minus the amount to 15 then go back from there?

please let us know of good setups that you are using as well as for what conditions i.e. street, track, drag.

cheers.

Set them to the softest setting (anti clockwise) then work your way up (clockwise).
My car doesn't see the track nor drag, I use 4/2.
As you adjust them, be sure to take your time. I've been told if you adjust them too rapidly you could damage the setting, so take your time during each click. Someone might want to confirm this?

Soft to Hard is the best was of setting i recon,
n yes take your time when setting them, 4/2 or 6/4 is a good start for street set up, then make adjustments to your liking if you want

hmm i always thought its turn to hardest setting then go back from there. i have N+ and theres only 15 clicks

i use 1-1 on the street n its comfy as :D:D n handles good with swaybars
or 8-7 wen i want bit more performance
dont 4get wheel alignment it makes a lot of difference

i use 4-2 on my dc5 for only street driving
its harder than stock, but not a rough ride unless ur on a shit road
i use the same.. but the handling isnt as good as when its very stiff then u can start taking corners properly

thanks guys, with n+ i think i foudn the best way was to start from the lowest then go up as there are not exactly 15 clicks thus going above 15 can damage them.

ive set them pretty high since im runing a low car and damn i love these :)

There is no best, nor fastest setting. Everyone drives differently, so set it how YOU like it to behave. The only way to do that is to try out a whole bunch of settings. Test out what happens when the front is stiffer than the rear and vice versa etc...

I use 10 f / 8 r on the street with Racing Spec Dampers.

I find the car handles like shit on anything below 7. anything below 7, and the car does not ride on the dampers... but like only on the springs.
Try a harder setting... it'll be nicer, also better for the oil in the damper.

haha i am using about 14 f / 12 r on the n+

so soes using a higher damper rate improve the life of the shock if you saif its better for the oil and a softer rate is worse?

^is this true?

Perth roads are not too bad so im using 10f - 8r for my euro still quite comfy

yeh wnana know if this is true??

also if the very lowest setting seen as 0 or 1??

like as low as you can go is then the next clik after that 1 or is 1 the lowest and the next click 2?
