The Skunk2 system is loud and is defectable, the only system louder than that for the Euro is the Amuse system.

But the Skunk2 system comes with butt plugs to quieten it down a little...

well im guessing that most of the exhausts give similar +hp
so it pretty much depends on what your personal preference is to each one. sound wise.

just curious, how many extra KW at the wheel would the skunk mega power exhaust plus a set of new headers gain?
Most of the gains would be from the header. The exhaust seems to be reasonably free flowing from the cat back so i think maybe 4 Kw!!that's not ATW

A cat back will not give you much gains alone, it needs to be complimented with other modifications you do i.e. headers, intake etc to actually become a worthy mod. It's there as an accessory of sorts for your other modifications.

Bolts straight on with stock cat but its very loud.

Hey aarong..
My friend has the legalis r on his euro and it's pretty quiet.. A little louder than stock.. I'm trying to get him to come to wakefield on the 17th, if he comes you can hear it in person...

But the sound gets drowned out coz of his intake(js Racing) and header(spoon) you can only hear the exhaust once you hit about 4~5K rpm.

Anyone got the spoon N1 exhaust??
I really want to know how loud that one is???

Funny thing is that the quiet exhaust is what I want. I want it loud only when I want it to be loud. And the Fujitsubo seems to be the only one. Any news on whether you are coming on May 17th? I'm giong to pay for it today.

aaron, thats what i thought... then my gf is right... its too soft for me.
when its 'suppose' to scream, my intake covers it all up and i hear shit all!
i was driving behind my car in a diff car with audio off, windows down... and i dont hear nothing at all until vtec.
everyone have diff preferences, and i guess i want more noise.

Can't remember if it was cf, and not sure what cat he used. You can't use the stock CL9 cat different length to the jdm cats.. I know his changed it but he doesn't know what it was. He doesn't know too much about cars, just got the money to spend...

Let me warn you about the Skunk2 system first.. It's really loud as it is and mine is now much louder with the Stage 2 Ver.3 cams, valve springs, retainers, 3 inch Metal Cat, RBC Manifold and ECU... It's deafening... On top of that, my car sounds like a diesel truck as well.... I wonder how it will be when I put in the race headers to replace my DC Sports headers.

if you want comfort without the resonace and vibration in the car, Skunk2 cat back is not for you.

anyone looking to get fujitsubo. i just picked up the new autosalon today. and they had a review of it on the accord euro. apparantly dyno tested there was no gains at all lol. i think they had injen sri aswell because they had a review of that as well.
same design as stock. a little louder but no gains.

No gains because it is a silent exhaust. We've known that for a while when a member in Melb had his Euro tested before and after the fujitsubo exhaust. The gain was within the dyno error I think. Still, the Fujitsubo is probably one of the only 2 exhausts I would choose.

why would you still bother going with the fujist if it has no gains?

Why bother doing a dyno run on a catback with an NA anyway? If the restriction is in the header, front pipe or cat design then the cat back alone isn't going to do much.

Wasn't having a go bud.
I just didn't want people to think they've wasted money buying a Fujistubo. They're a fantastic exhaust and flow more than 95% of people will need

hard to find parts!!
theres like heaps of cl7 parts compared to cl9 haha =P

Point me in the direction of where's selling them

On a gains note,a recent mag feature of a CL7 here with the skunk2 showed a 7bhp difference when rolling roaded against stock, the car was then rolling roaded again with a k+n typhoon and gained 15bhp,its total figure was 239bhp(at the fly)

hm im not sure where u can buy the cl7 parts, well some traders on this forum should be able to get them but not sure for u since your overseas.
do you have any people who specializes in importing jdm parts around your place?
for some brands off the top of my head

http://www.jsracing.co.jp/
http://www.mandm-honda.com/car/cl7_main.html
http://www.spoon.jp/eng/

those are the brands that pretti much have a lot of parts for the cl7
while there are more brands out there most of them dont have the complete catalogue of parts like these ones and sell just a few parts for the cl7 (exhaust header etc etc)

Fujitsubo is one of the few exhausts that sound stock unless you are using full throttle and high RPM. The other exhausts drone even with partial throttle and a reasonable 3000rpm.
