Product Review: Mothers Plastic Polish

Cost: $18.99 @ Supercheap Auto

Comments:
- I'd recommend this product to any car with headlights that have a yellow haze.

- Apply to a clean cloth, apply product in a circular motion to plastic (as per bottle's instructions)

- Within 10minutes my headlights looked like this!

looks great - Are your headlights the stock H.I.D ones or non HID with black housing.

No, do it once, and then apply a layer of normal wax to slow down future damage.

i read the backside of the autosol metal polish the other day, it says "can be used on some glass or plastic surfaces". tried it on my audm dc2r headlights, and it works. wont remove stone chip though...

I can vouch for this.

I used this product on my old Impreza bugeye. The lights headlights were cloudy, so I went over the headlights several times. You can see the difference in the comparison shots below.

i believe the yellowing/clouding effect is the cause of oxydisation correct?

got my headlights and has this problem pretty bad. will give this a go!

if you have scratches and stuff on your headlight you can start at 800grit paper and work your way to the finest to make it really smooth!

then hit it with a variable speed buffer and it comes up soo much better!!

i swear by mothers plastic polish!
