Hey guys, sorry if this is a hell noooob question.

Recently bought a ctr front and back lips, and i want to spray them and also fit them, i know i'd go to any paint shop to do that, just wondering how much it'll cost to spray them like an estimate would be great!

Also the prev owner riced the car up then took off the body kit which meant the sideskirts ripped off a bit of paint where they were glued on. might need to get that part sprayed also.

Ok i suppose my noob question is how much should i be looking around for the spraying of the lips and maybe even the car where the old sideskirts were?

And also Where and how much for fitting of lips. I would do it myself but i frankly don't trust myself with drilling the holes.

Thanks

Dude.. put it this way, my mate wanted to spray his WRX sideskirts and they wanted $280.. to spray the lips and touch up them dodgy little bits, I don't think it'll be worth it.. under $300 would be decent, my point of view anyways..
as for fitting them lips, it's much easier than it looks.. I did mine just a few weeks ago, looked hard, but it's just a few screws here and there..

my car is black so where the paint and glue residue is near the sideskirts is pretty noticible :\

So do you think should just scrap painting the lips? i was thinking the black plastic would look considerably diff in the sunlight to car black.

Not sure about painting but installation of the lips are easy, just get a mate to help you hold one side.

I was worried about installation until I actually tried :)

roughly 150 depending on where you go.

DMD charge around 180-200 spray and fit. Depending on the car. So most places would probably be around the same price.

You should be able to get someone to touch up the paint quite cheap if you cant do it yourself.

I agree with O2gzm.. touch up paint would do the job! just primer the lip, then give it a few even coats.. your car's black, so it would be even easier..

Hey, this touch up paint... is it in a spray can or something?

you can get it in spray can form.. just get the colour code which is located near the driver's door, and take it to someplace such as repco or supercheap, find your code and purchase it there.. simple!

If you need to do fine lines with the spraypaint spray it into the lid and grab a fine brush, like a model brush, and you can touch up scratches quite easy.

dono exactly how good a job i have done yet but i did a fairly decent part of my lip today as a touch up and its come out looking ok so painting it yourself should be to hard if you gave it a go mate. i got everything i needed from autobahn and bunnings.. cost like 50bux max. dono about the hole bar.
