OK, gonna ask here 'cos it seems more correct than the Integra Forum. :o Everything I have found on ECUs assumes that you know the base settings.

Can anyone please point me to a link that shows the base settings for a Honda using an aftermarket ECU? I don't mean the fuel settings, but the Dwell Ms, sensor types, ignition fire edge, etc.
I looked at the Hondata downloads, but again, they require the ecu to have the base settings. (Notice how I have avoided using the word "Piggyback":p)
I guess this question is therefore aimed at the guys with stand-alone Non-Honda ECUs.

To explain - Since I didn't get an ecu with my engine, & Honda wanted $2,500 for one that I could then buy a Hondata to get out of safe-mode & modify, I bought an EMS 8860 (Foolishly) as it is supposedly a complete stand-alone & programmable ECU, but no-one (Including EMS) has ever put one on a Honda. My tuner won't wire it in, but will accept a car that starts & idles. The wiring of it is not such a problem as working out what settings to use, so I don't blow the thing up.
Can anyone assist me please?

Yes, speak to Joe at Hi-Comp Performance (02) 9677 0505. He has an EMS on the shop drag Civic and the apprentice has one on his Civic as well (both have H22A conversions). He should be able to get you going.

BTW, they have also just put an 8860 on a customer's, soon to be turboed, widebody NSX. :)
