I've been thinking of a project for some time... originally it was gonna be a DA9

with a k series using Innovative mounts, but I have scrapped that idea (engine is worth more than the car lol).

Anyway I'm gonna do another H22a swap into an EG as i miss it, but this time I'm

going the H2B route, and also in a EG/H sedan this time.

I used the HCP Engineering mounts in my last EG that left no provision for the luxuries (P/S & A/C).

This time I won't both luxuries.

Hasport claims there EGH2 mounts have provision for P/S, but not A/C.

Why is this? Can custom A/C lines be used? Or is it just out of the question.

Whilst Innovative say there mounts have provision for both A/C & P/S.

So the obvious choice is the Innovative mounts, but when I emailed them they would

not give me any info or whether I use my existing EG civic A/C compressor & lines etc,

or do i have to use/modify either prelude or Accord A/C bits?

Can someone help out, as I want to start gathering items... but the right ones.

I don't favor either mount company etc, but which one can accommodate P/S & A/C.

Thanks.

first of all H2B swap NO AIRCON! Poweer steering MAYB but i never looked into p.s as i never gonna use it.

With H2B swap, stock Dc2r/EG engine mounts can be used. Its recommend to upgrade to aftermarket ones to like innovative or hasport.

If you go with straight H22a then i don't see why not a/c and p/s can't be retain. With air con, custom lines would be the best bet.

Thanks fatboyz... thought the A/C lines side of things may have to be modded or custom fabricated.

That sucks arse regarding the H2B situation (no A/C & possibly P/S) by the sound of things.

What is the best short ratio standard prelude/accord box for a H22a to look out for then?

Apparently some have LSD... What model is that out of because I would like that this time...

unless it's fitted to the longer ratio gearboxes.

Not only people do the H2B swaps, it gives it better axle position as to the H gearboxs in the EG. Then again, if you doin custom mounts then that won't be a problem. With hasport mounts for h22a into EG this is a factor.

Alot of yanks loves teh h2b swaps, poor man K swap.

I would love to do a K swap but i can't justify spending more on a motor than the actual car...

Looks like B series for the simplicity f*^k it.

I miss the torque of the H22a's...

And before you say turbo.... no thanks.

Thanks again fatboyz :)
