AFAIK, most JDM cars came factory with folding mirrors and rear wipers, however sofar i am unable to find this option for the cl9.
Can anyone shed any light on this, as this is one creature comfort i am use of having, that i miss.

cheers

I think some overseas models do this. Along with side mirror warmer/demister.

A rear wiper was never an option on the CL9. The rear demister was designed in a way to compensate for that and actually works really well.

My CL9 has folding mirrors.

I think they are standard on all CL9's here in NZ. I will have to look into it.

BTW, my CL9 is a 2003 standard model.

Australian city streets are generally not narrow like other cities overseas so I guess it's deemed not a necessity. Having said that, there has been the odd occasion when I had to manually fold the mirrors because the parking space was a bit tight. I think a rear wiper on the CL9 would look ugly.

Sydney's roads are the most narrow and shitty compare to other countries I have been too.

Depends on the area you are in and if our euros had the folding mirrors it would be benefit when parked.

can anyone shed any more light into it as in where to purchase it?
also does it operate like other jdm models, as in it needs a relay??
would love to get my hands on it.

I know that Singapore sells the kits for them and they can be hooked up to your keys so that when you lock your doors, the mirrors fold.

Not sure if someone can wire them up here.

do you have any contact details regarding this??

i've owned imports all my driving life, and this feature was in all of them, so would like to have this on my euro.
i've searched on yahoo auctions and the alike, and cant find it. they usually sell both sides, interior swtich and the relay.
if anyone can find any forsale, please do let me know..

cheers

you have to use some force the first time. Was scared that it would break the first time I folded mine in..

All cars mirrors at least fold manually these days. They fold them for shipping.

Yea, I usually fold them when I'm parked on a street where the lanes are narrower. It's a bit stiff at first but after a few times, it loosens up.

I hate it when I forget to manually fold my mirrors back to default when I get into the car so I end up looking at my ugly self.
