Hey people

Looking to buy a MY06/07 CVT Vti-S Jazz.

From reading this section, it appears that a CAI for a manual will not fit the auto ?

Can someone explain why, and what options are available ?

Thanks.

the only option u have for the auto is a SHORT RAM INTAKE only....

as the auto gear box is longer....
hence u won't be able to squeeze a CAI...

SRI you can buy apexi, not too sure if injen make one...

Toda will only make a CAI for CVT if they get more than 10 people interested and they need a guinea pig car to test and make the CAI.

CAI for manual won't fit Autos because the gearbox is in the way.

if you notice the spoon fit/jazz uses the stock intake setup. maybe a upgraded panel filter but thats it. intake doesn't always mean more performance/response. i've used short ram pod filters, but for some reason the stock one seems fine. get a decent exhaust before looking at CAI

Yea i agree, but the Mrs is after induction noise like my Injen.

maybe you can run a duct from intake to the outside bumper. the jazz is setup from fractory to take air just in front of the wheel arch quater panel. you might be able to do with that.

oh yea, heres what two jazzs sound like going up the street.

Doesn't Injen make a CAI for GD3 Jazz? GruppeM does one as well.

INJEN intake can be used for CVT Jazz as well now.
