I installed LED lights to replace:

Number Plate
Brake
Amber Indicators

On the back of my FN2R. All pretty straight forward with the exception of the Ambers. For anyone interested the pictures should help give an indication of what to expect.

Questions welcome!

Comparable to the normal bulbs with the difference being you get the snappy reaction from LED's... mind you its important to look around and get the brightest set you can find prefferably 1watt SMT's and as many of them as possible!

I think the brake lights look hawt :) Love LED tail lamps- even if people call them rice; I think they're nice.

Not a fan of the plates one- I don't really like drawing attention to my numberplate unless I want everyone to know who I am. Last thing I want is for someone to key my car one day because they remember my numberplate or something.

Or you just put the brightest bulbs for the number plates so you cant even read it :p

I'm thinking of replacing my interior light bulbs with the 1W LEDs. Because the LEDs run on less power, is there any need for modify the circuit to protect them from the large current they receive?

I read from here: http://dansdata.blogsome.com/2008/02/27/thrilling-led-bulb-replacement-action/ that these LEDs wont last as longas the OEM incandescent bulb due to the effect of "overdriven/under-cooled LEDs". Is that true?

Thanks
