Eg6 Lsd

I read this guy in americas lil profile about his EG6 and he said without LSD he broke 2 trannys and then he got a spoon LSD...
now he doesn't wheel spin on take off, can utilize the full torque range and doesn't bog 2nd gear?

Ive also heard from someone with an ITR that the use of LSD under drag-style conditions (ie - just running it hard in a straight line) is pretty much not noticable because it doesnt' do much if anything?

i thought the LSD is mainly used for improving cornering speed?
coz it balances the inner and outer wheelspin?
so i think the ITR guy should be right?

a 2 way lsd will increase accel + decel

itr lsd is only 1.5/1 way (i can't recall) helps on cornering more

there r 2 types of lsd
clutch
helical/gear type

clutch is more hardcore, works better, downside is u have to service more often

helical is nonservicable, works a long time, but only limited to 1.5way i think
