it should have red outlines on it, this head should also flow huge flow numbers, test it on flow bench, what did it cost you and what stage of porting did you get

It does have the red ink on it, total with postage it was about $1900, it says on the invoice:
B18c2 race head
Pro Series cnc ported
Radiused seats
Flow tested and matched chambers
I also got valves and a core,
The servise cost $1280 us

Did it come supplied with flow figures and what part of your head doesnt match up to the job you expected?

What made you get JG to do your head out of curiosity??

I got jg because they claim there heads are simply the best with i think the highest flow rates, they also use them on there 300hp race motors so i thought they must be doing something right. No flow figures, the port work doesn't look as expensive as the pictures on the website, the port opening is barely even 1mm larger than stock. i have emailed them for figures and might get it tested here. what would be the cost to test that hee in perth.

Thanks

that head you got there should flow over 300cfm and .500 lift at 28inches of water, and if it does you will have 1 of the best heads in australia, thats with stock valves if oversized valves then your laughing.
I have run there heads and no one i mean no one in australia can match them

Dare say flow bench testing wouldnt be cheap but you'd assume paying that much for a your headwork it would come with flow figures and cc figures ensuring they are all even, so id be asking them and hoping the work was done.

What intake are you planning on running, itbs or i/m??

What are your specs in general for this motor??

I knew Z speed supply direct but did you ask for the specs and they did them or is it an existing cam they make?

They make bits for the usual U.S suspects, i remember looking at their site a while back and it stating their R&D staff was a total of 4 people, now you know how many people it takes to copy a product in Taiwan, hahahaha!

Im sure the cams will work as they should and they were a good price, their rods are Eagle rods im pretty sure, arp bolts and all.

Are you running Z Speed valve components or those supplied by JG??

Looking forward to you getting some pics up and good news with the head, should put out some good numbers, as for oil pump, id invest in Toda pump gears.

Stock pump with upgraded gears hey? that seams what everyone is doing

Its the gear that fails, not the pump or housing as such.

Anyone got the oil pump gear? is there much importance of upgraded valve spring seats?

Is there much difference at all between valve stem seals, or are they all viton seals of the same sort.

Thanks

that is huge flow, i told ya it would be over 300cfm, no porter in aust can even get past 300cfm, that head is for power
