why are you still asking??

GO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!

=p

you cant really do anything to your honda carb engine anyway man, they just not a performance engine

dude, if you dont get your money back, sell the car for roughly how much it has costed you and get yourself something you can actually work on... there is absolutely no sense in spending money on a car you dont want, save it man

whats ACCC again? Anyway i contacted austrade, which was wrong as

"Austrade is the Australian government export promotion agency, that assist Australian businesses to export their goods and service overseas.

Austrade is not a regulatory body.

I suggest you contact the NSW office of Fair Trading on 13 32 20 or their website http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/

Regards,"

Just emailed fair trading now, See where that goes.

why do people always jump to the conclusion that carburetors are crap for performance? have you guys had any experience with carburetors personally?

my d15b4 dual carburetor fitted with p29 pistons, titanium high revving valvetrain, bisimoto stage 2 cam, bisimoto adjustable cam gear, extractors and exhaust just dyno'd 96fwkw at 7000rpm with a street tune, and i havent even fitted my semi-quad carburetor setup yet.

even if you dont plan on ditching factory keihin carbs or the single carb, there are still mods you can make to the carbs to make them more responsive.

i know how u feel man, ... ahh kids today, with their gameboys and colour tv's ...

btw, i cut the lid of the box surrounding the carbs and now it breathes from all sides...for a car with no cannon muffler...it sounds crazy on the top end!!!

haha, yeah, for a 1.5:, it sure does roar when its exposed. right now, mine for some reason sounds like a supercharger. from 3500rpm to 7000rpm it has a bit of a scream. should sound meatier as soon as i get my skracing carbs in. been sorting out minor issues with my setup.
