Just a quickie....

Will 17 X 7.5 & 17 X 8 fit on a CD5 without issues...

And the CD5's have a 4 X 114.3 stud pattern don't they?

Thanks....

it depends on what offset the wheels are.

i've used wheels the width of 8 inch before, lip needs to be rolled

offset is the most important

4 x 114.3 is correct.

Thanks guys...

The few wheels I'm looking at are + 40 in offset , will they be fine or would + 45

be more user friendly?

I'm a noob when it comes to wheel offsets as you can tell.

Riviera: still haven't made a 100% decision on what wheel I'm gonna pick yet.

I read somewhere that the lower the offset number the better, is this correct?

it depends on what offset the wheels are.

i've used wheels the width of 8 inch before, lip needs to be rolled

If I went 18 X 7 with factory height or slightly lowered height (2" or so), would the guards still require rolling?

I'm after suggestions on whether 18 X 7's would be to larger in size to suit the DTM/USDM look?

As well as the above question in the post above.

As long as not chrome wheels :P lol (no offense) never been a fan of chrome wheels ever. They just don't look right on Accord or some Japanese cars.

Get true JDM wheels... like ITR or Motegi, etc.

Nah mate I'm no sexspec guy.

The rims are Racing DTM style like in the UKDTM racing series.

18x7 jarks no need for lip rolling

if ur gonna go beyond and above 8 then yes

give it a ago first, buy the wheels

lip needs rolling it needs rolling then.

when u lower it should have camber :)

Thanks spoon-accord.

I still can't decide on what rims I want, but I think im gonna stick with 17x7 or 7.5

Slowly narrowing it down though.
