Hi,

Just a quick question, do you guys know if honda dealers deal with modified euros services or is that void?

and would it be better off with 80k & 100k mileage major service for the car to be done back at Honda or other places?

Thanks in advance. Daz

They will service modified euro, but if there are any problems with the car and they attributed it to your mod, you'll get no warranty on that particular problem (but they will still fix it at your expense). Your mod will not void the whole warranty, e.g., if you have lowered suspension, it will void your warranty on suspension, but will not void warranty on engine (unless they can somehow pinpoint the problem to your engine comes from your suspension)

Major service is every 40,000km. If you did the 40,000km after modded, there is no difference with the 80,000km except for the fuel filter, which is under the rear seat.

lol darren ur thinking exact same as me.
i wanna do a major service on mine.

Can someone list what conists of a major service?
Well Euro's have timing chains so i've been told.. so that doesnt need to be done until the motor fails.

Oil Change + Filter
Fuel Filter
Tappet adjustment
Spark plugs
Radiator Flush
Change the Sponge in the airbox
Gear box oil change
I'm gonna do my brakes and bleed all the old fuilds out and put new fluids in.

- What else is there?
- Is there any seals that they would normally replace on a major?
- and is the K24 tappet adjustment similiar to a b series adjustment?

*EDIT*

I just called my mechanic that i use to to do small jobs, he said there's no need for tappet adjustment as the hydraulic ro some shit? he has no idea? or should i just take it somewhere else for a tappet adjustment?
lol

Off the top of my head the only main difference is valve clearance check & adjustment if needed. Also for 80k I think tranny fluid as well.

All the other stuff is standard, oil filter+oil, air filter etc.
