Rev Meter stopped working

Hey everyone,

My rev meter stopped working when I was servicing and cleaning the engine. Any ideas? The only thing I did to it was change the oil and sprayed this thing that cleans the engine and washed it with a hose. Now it just stays on 0.
I checked the fuse and everything and I don't know what can cause this, Any Ideas?

pull out your VSS sensor ( located on top of the gearbox housing , located above where both the driveshafts meet in the middle) and make sure the connection isnt flooded.

But, my speedo works but the speedo for the Revs doesn't isnt pulling out the VSS is for the speedometer for the speed?

ive been through about 7 dizzy/coils and on one of them the tacho did not work so maybe something is wrong with your dizzy?

whoops misread.

Check the connectors on and around the distributor - might be wet or shorting somewhere
