Jst wondering wats better A EK9 Gear box or a type R DC2

its going on a EK civic, is ther any big diff in either???

can't just ask what's better. depends what it's gonna be used for.

ek9 - 4.4FD
dc2R 96 spec - 4.4FD
dc2R 98 spec - 4.785FD

The all have LSD and similar gearing, so it's only the FD that is different.

Generally for low powered cars you'd go with the 4.785 or even get after market 4.9, 5.0 etc...

If you're making big amounts of power the 4.4 will probably serve you better.

Yes to both.

ek4 i'd get a 4.7FD box so ITR.
If you gonna boost it 4.4FD is better.
