hey guys, just wana know if h22a will fit ek sedan with power steering and aircond?

not 100% sure but i remember an eg with h22a with p/s and a/c and needed some modifications to fit with p/s, a/c. so im guessing it would be same or very similar to EK. but yeh it is possible and shouldnt be too big of a deal.
best to consult the guy doing the conversion.

ps and ac can be done with mods ofcousre. I let my ac go and keep the ps. my theory is if u drvie fast enough u wont need ac lol jk. And yes u need to up grade ur brakes, it a must. Also handy too if u up grade ur sussy and a few braces.

abit off the topic lol, why are h22a's so unpopular from the vtec range.
is it the low aftermarket support?
difficultly in conversion?

From my understanding, the h22a is un popular due to there being a great deal less after market parts for it compared to the b series motors, and I remember the gear ratios are pretty average since the prulude is more of a luxury coupe where the tegs are a sports coupe, apparently putting a b series box on a h22a makes a world of a difference

You don't need to do the H2B conversion, you just need to change the final drive ratio to 4.7. That makes a huge difference.

If i got the whole motor, what other parts do i need to buy to get it fitted on a EK?
Will i be using the H shift linkage or b series shift linkage?
I know i need to buy Mounts and driveshafts, what else?

in mine project i keep the cable from the h22 box. You need half size twin core radiator, slim fan and like u said drv shafts and mount. thats all i can think of for now. once youve done it, u wouldnt look back. Every gear change is a rush like riding a bike. lol

ps yes no ac. u can keep ac if u really want to. afew mods and after market parts will do.
