hey guys any1 know wat the differences are? pistons, cams etc.
and how come b18c's have so much more torque than a b16a?

engines displacment >>>>> bigger motor, compression, cams, factory ported head etc ....

it has more torque coz its a bigger displacement motor.....
take a look at the numbers. b16=1.6l b18=1.8l
no replacement for displacement

Above formula is applicable if the alphabet a-z is represented by numbers in chronological order. a=1, b=2 etc.
..its what happens when i get bored =]

b18c7 runs duel valve springs.

The B18c uses a much lower rod/stroke ratio which also makes the engine feel more torquier at low RPMs
