hey fellas,
i have a 91 series 2 cita prelude and im thinking of converting my b20a6 to vtec, from a bit of research i found that the b16a head bolts right onto my block...
just wondering how much? where to find a nice b16a? and what else would need to be done to make it happen..
any suggestions and tips would be sweet..

vtec heads will unfortunately not bolt straight onto a b20a6 block, when people refer to a b20vtec they use a b20b bottom end not b20a.
Having said that it has been done before, but heres a quote from the guy doing the conversion kits
The VTEC conversion is no longer being offered. It seems to be too complicated for the average enthusiast to install and tune correctly. It also did not make as much power as expected with the stock cams. This conversion is totally possible but I don't feel that it is a good value.
See here (http://preludepower.com/forums/showthread.php?t=255852) for more info
Better option would probably to do a h22a conversion, premade mounts are available, have a look around prelude power if you want more info
Hope that helps
