this may help a few people, duno if its just me but figured it would be a common problem for guys with lowerd suspension.
as i mentioned in the camber kit thread, i had a chronicly bad rattle from my rear end and i couldnt work it out, went riding around in the car trying to find the noise pulled the thing apart suspension included, checked everything. till my mate said, man your exhaust bounces around alot over the bumps, after following me.
my car is verrrry low and very stiff, so i guess the stock mounts wernt cutting it, not to mention that honda only fitted two, one on each muffler nothing in the centre for vibrations. so the extra movement was making the muffler bounce and occasionaly hit the heat sheilding by the look of it.
now you could go high tech and get new brackets welded on and blah blah, but i dont have the time or motivation. i resort to wd-40(inox) and zipties.
2 zipties for each rubber mount , one around the centre to squeeze it, one around the loop section to hold it in tighter. little lube inside each hole to stop the squeaking noise on a cold morning. FIX! nothing, no more rattle, goneskies...
i will post a pic up if need be, but its simple it worked and im happy that stupid noise is gone.
hope this helps some people out :)
cheers
