has anyone of you tried resetting springs for ek? if so.. how was it?

resetting? what do u mean by resetting? havent heard of this term before. jsut buy my old lowering springs :wave:

you can only reset leaf springs, ( oldskool )

no you can reset springs (compress) ... my bro had it done to his SSS he had superlows and resset them, they just heat the spring up and sqaush it basically although it may affect your ride e.g make it more bumpy or rough , my bros sss has a really rough ride. but im sure it wouldnt be too bad depending on how much lower you want to go

for the amount of money u spend resetting, u'd rather get a set of springs from jumbos.. which is a custome height at what u want....which is better since the coils are abit thicker so u dun bounce too much...coz oem springs are thinner...which are softer..

i agree with geo41e you might as well get a new set of springs its around the same price if yo getting them resettting

Yeah my mate has had his FE2's reset on both his commos... its just an all round uncomfortable ride. It looks ****ing horn! but you dont wanna be going round corners too hard or going down an even slightly bumpy road.
