obd2 -> obd2b dash loom

got a prob here guys would be sweet to get abit of help

got a b18cr in an ek4 and a turbo em1 b16

swaping the motor from the em1 b16a to the ek4 and putting the b18cr into the em1

swaped the motors over and ecu plugged it in and everything works but the dash loom doesnt match up

is it because em1 dash loom is a obd2b and the ek4 is a obd2a? about 8 pin difference i think and yeah, or i could pull both dahs looms out which is a hell of a bitch to do, and swap them ova, any other alternative besides that or a conversion from a->b?

Might be worth asking him if he's got one. Otherwise your gonna have to make yourself a conversion loom

Make sure you swap over the engine harness for both... So the ek4 with the B18cR, take that wiring loom off and put it on the EM1. Since the Em1 ecu is ob2b? but since its turbo it should have an aftermarket ecu (obd2a), it should straight fit, or you'll needto buy the obd2a - obd2b harness.

yeah that was done but the em1 has the problem of dash electronics like ac cd player etc fuel pump etc not working, engine harness was left from the ek4 in the b18cr when swaped from ek4 to em1 but prb is the dash loom doesnt fit into the obd2a ecu from the ek4, there is a harness conversion for that yeah? where could i get this? or ill have to swap em1 dash loom to the ek4 and ek4 to em1 to get it working
