As the topic states, i am looking for a new set of the standard CD5 accord wheels that came on the vti & vtis models..

where can i get them in Melbourne... are there any wreckers where ppl have purchased good from and would recomend...

also what price would i be looking at... i want good condition.!!

in the event that i cant get them... what other rims would suit or can som1 make a suggestion on what would look better (in their opinion) (had dolces on and not doin it again)
plz keep in mind price!!
ive been intouch with Hondatec.. they only have prelude rims (not sure what they will look like on

last question... does ne1 know where i can buy replica rims.. like lowenheart or iforged or fabolous??

thanks

I have the Prelude rims on my car. They look ok if your comparing it to the Accord hubcaps. The Prelude specs are. 15x6.5 +55 offset whereas the Accord are 15x5.5 +55 offset. Because of the extra 1" width the only problem that i have is that the rear tyres touch the suspension knucke when the car is jack up or when the suspenshion have to extend. This could probably be fixed with a wheel spacer or if your car is lowered as the suspension has less travel

wheel spacer = illegal, but who knows

only way around that is get different rims, or coilovers cause they dont fully extend... lol

accord rims are everywhere on ebay. just keep a look out. no one wants them so they go for cheap.

here's a pic of how it look on my car.

Front is the prelude and the rear is the hub cap. The size are the same both15" but the prelude rim width is larger, 6.5" compare to the stock which is 5.5" . Offset are the same +55. If you read my post above you would see how the extra 1" in width might effect the rear suspension knuckle. btw the tyre size for prelude rims are 205/55/15 accord are 195/60/15
