The place to start is Intake, Headers, Exhaust
This has been covered many times, you should find a lot of info here for a start http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18699

Intake 2 main choices:
-Injen ~ $450
-Mugen ~$850
Mugen being the superior combination of SRI & CAI yielding greater gains over the rev range.
Full Exhaust (headers to exhaust) in conjunction with intake should yield ~ 10 - 15kw increase (give or take depending on exhaust/intake type)
The next step after this is ECU tune with dyno. This ensures all the bolt on mods compliment eachother and should yield some extra power.
Apart from this; if you want to stick to NA, the next work is internals (cams, fuel pumps, injectors etc...) this gets expensive.
So as T-one said above, for a reasonable price: Intake (Injen or 2nd hand Mugen) & Exhaust.
If thats not good enough - do an ECU tune ;-)
Hope that helps!

Go hunting in the forsale section. Heaps of things there for DC2's.

thanksyou want to do something without a goal
tell us your goal 1st, we may be able to better help out
in my book, I like to start with chassis, suspension mods b4 i chase any power.
once that is up to spec, only then will i chase power
each to their own:)

What are you trying to gain?
Beating WRX's?
