hi,

I was wondering if my car is making a clicking noise while it is at full lock, does that mean the cv joints have gone bad?

Does anyone how much it is to replace cv joints?

thanks

the suspension is stock on my jazz but i have put 15' volks on it. Not sure if it is the wheels thats doing the damage to the cv joints. Yea i brought the car back to honda and they were very surprised as well to see a car with 60k having such problems.

i had problem with cv joints too.. although i have a civic.. they said it was bout 100 - 150 for them and that it doesnt vary much for most cars.. but most spare shops will have them as well as most local mechanics

that would be 'each' + fitting.

and yes most workshops would use a changeover driveshaft system where they supply new ones and take ur old ones

really cos i got quoted $150 for both... mayb cos its for a different car.. but yer.. just thought it might help, but they were from a wrecker.. so they wuld be 2nd hand.

can we just take a step back here, if it a repetitive clicking noise as you are at full lock turning, or is it just one click as you accelerate to take off?

the car is making the repetitive clicking noise while at full lock.
