Paint and tint removal from windows.

Hey guys, just trying to find out the easyist way to remove paint and tint from windows...., just painted my eg and have paint on the windows and also want to remove my old tint as it is going purple. :(

FOr the tint, Use a heat gun and heat the film up, spray some window cleaner (if you want) everywhere and then start from the corner and use a thin blade and start to remove the tint from one side to the other.
for paint.. maybee use claybar.. for use for window and mayb window too.

razor blade, steam/heat gun , window cleaner, steel wool should be able to get everything off without causing any damage

say if im taking tint from the rear window and i use a heatgun, would it heat up them brown lines (the brown lines that make fog go away) and fall or melt off ?

only use a heat guna no blade for the rear.... those

"brown lines" are elements yea they warm up to remove the
dew from outside and condensation inside

if you use a blade on them theyre most likely going to lose there protection cover

just use a heat guna and work in one area at a time

maybe get a knife blade and cut out squares so u work in sqaures each time
dont heat one area for too long u can crack the glass :thumbsup:

use a steam gun and prepsol not saying the heatgun wont work but thats the way i would do it

well i went out to buy a heatgun and found out it didnt work like i exspected to then i went to do some research and found steam was my weapon...
i ended up using my mum's ironer and it did the job... might do a DIY on this later on..
