went to start my car this morning
acc.. reds.. TICK
and thats all i heard, no turning over, had to give it a few goes before it would start
did it a few more times while at the exhaust shop too, i consulted blitz who was there today and he's informed me that its the starter motor thats gone
anyone else able to confirm this for me before i go and buy a replacement?

my car does exactly that to me sometimes vinny...
i always thought it was the immobiliser kicking in for some reason...
i jus pull the key out wait a couple secs and try again... then it works...
weird aye..

try hitting the starter motor a few times...then see if that helps...if so, get a replacement starter motor...the last time i got mine it only cost me 50 bucks

^ thanks for the suggestion
i mean when it starts, it starts fine
maybe i need to check the grounding points on it or something
where'd you get the starter motor for $50?

cristians right.. do the hammer trick.
it's the brushes on the starter motor on their way
hammer trick is temporary and stops working after a while... it works because the momentary vibrations caused will allow the brushes to make contact again.
