hi guys:

i've just bought the front and rear red type r badges for the fd1 from ebay, its geniun honda made in japan, however while the front one fits perfectly, the rear one seems too small and flat for the curve back of fd1. does any of you know where to get one that fits? thanks

Are you sure its genuine? Mine had 'genuine honda' on the plastic package and then it had 'genuine hooda' on the sticker on it -_-
Thus it took some modification to get a perfect fit.

Possibly genuine but not for FD1/2,the boot for FD1/2 where the rear badge is located has a slight curve ,the previous model Civic are basic pretty flat. Only avail in asian country where they sell the FD2R,cost approx $50.

urs is for EP3R.
you should get for FD2R. perfectly fit to FD1/2

You can attach that badge to the original badge like i did and epoxy it on if you don't want to go out and buy another one.

no one can tell the difference and it looks good, but i would suggest you get a pro to do it so that it comes out nice and neat.

if its genuine for the FD2R it should come with backing for the rear to suit the curve bit.

but the backing only comes in type R colors, so blue, silver and white.

As stated in post, OEM Civic FD Emblem. So if it doesnt fit, you can always send it back. But i dont think there would be a problem.

There wont be a problem i bought mine from him and they fitted perfectly.

what is the size of the badge? is the front and the rear have different sizes?

$65 each or $120 a pair.
dont worry, won't fit, if JDM type-r badges will fit FD guarantee.

Yes, only 2 circlips are holding them in the back.

DMX: Can you still get the badges? I want a set as well :) I also want the one for the steering wheel as well in red, so let me know.
