Some Simple Questions Before Buying A Car I Need Answered =)

Hey,

Planning on buying a 4th Gen Lude in the next month or so and i just wanted to know if there are any issues that are common with he 4th Gen ludes. Just so i can check out the problems b4 i go and buy a car that has problems i may not have noticed. Just stuff that i should look out for, e.g. if the 4th gen ludes have common sunroof leaks.

i hav a 4th gen bb2 si with a jdm h22a conversion in it with konieg hotswap 17x7s, half custom extractors, aem cai, a tanabe front strut brace and a drift cannon lookin 2 sell maybe.. the 4ws is a prob in some of these the sunroofs some times get a lil rust tho it can be almost straight swapped with a 5th gen glass roof and it doesnt leak unless it rusts through... if your interested give me a call on 0413731810

as with any old car with a sunroof do a good check for rust, signs of leaks

the main thing to look out for is the 4ws system. if that is stuffed it costs a mint to repair and i think some parts aren't even available for it

other than that there are no common major issues with the lude

4th gens are pretty old cars.. and most of them have likely been in a few accidents so make sure you check the cars structure first.. my sure the car is straight.. secondly, the car has most likely clocked up a lot of k's so try and make sure that the car has been serviced and looked after on a regular basis. ask for service logs and reciepts as proof as well, and if you purchase the car, ask if you can have them with it as well. other than that you should probably always get a second opinion from someone that knows cars well, perhaps a mechanic or someone. hope you find one you like, they are great cars =]
