1. loosen wheel nuts
2. jack the car up and remove the wheels
3. u will see 3 collars (2 red ones joined right under the spring) and 1 black on near the bottom of the strut.
4. best way to raise it would be to keep the spring captive (ie if the spring is loose and not held by top and bottom - move the bottom collars up) to do this turn the top one anticlockwise and the bottom clockwise to break the bond. then turn them both anticlockwise to go up until the spring is held tight. finish off by locking them together again.
5. if your springs are already held captive then you can ignore step 4 and just raise it from the bottom. to do this turn the black colar anticlockwise to loosen it from the bottom of the strut and start winding it up. after this is done you can turn the whole strut ( you shoul se the LCA lower and that will tell you you are turning it the right way.
6. measure up how much you are raising it by and do it the same on the other side. lock the black colar to the bottom again and make sure everything is secure.
7. put on your wheels and nuts and lower the car down and see if the height is what you want lol.
you dont need to take any bolts of just the wheel to be able to do this :) good luck.
