A friend had an older set on his CRX, was hard as hell, perfect for the track, but as a daily driver would give you headaches, all the VW boys swear by them

Ohlins, Bilstein, Penske (and maybe a very few others), the best of the best. The only issue would be cost and finding a rate suitable for your springs and application.

I never had experience with them but all I heard is that ohlins is the best of the best, I know guy that has them on S2K, he is very happy, he recons much better than spoon for everyday driving (his bro has spoon on his S2K) and very good for track as well, I think he paid around $3K

Tried the Flag L on my friend's car.
really good if compare to alot of other sus.
if you compare Tein RA and Ohlins Flag L, both are very similar, and it can go hard on corner. Just unbelievable.
but it cost over 4k per set.

Well to give you an idea on how good Ohlins design their products, every other coilover company designed their coilovers for the DC5 with a higher connecting arm to the steering rack.

Ohlins are the only company Ive seen smart enough to make the arm flat or lower to help prevent the angled issue for lowered DC5 / EP3's.

I have a set in my car too.
Ride quality is awesome.

But they're the cheaper kind from Japan.

The real deal are made by the Sweds. At a min cost of around $2,000 a corner. I think that's the entry level stuff too.

Correct me if I'm wrong though.

The Ohlins may be very very good, but I doubt they're any better than Bilstein which I'm sure will be substantially less expensive. By far the best quality / $ ratio is had with Koni, which arguably aren't quite as good quality as the Bilstein product.

yes they are good but its not only the shocks that u need to spend the mulah on. I reckon its better to spend it wisely on like sway bars, carmer kits, tie rods, ball joints, lcs, other chasis mods... etc...

im running picperformance shocks from the states, the guy customises his own shocks and many run them in the honda challenge with excellent results. bang for buck i reckon they are, imo better than koni, although my spring rates are fairly hardcore 12k f 14k rear i think, definatley not for the daily... too hard for the daily grind.. ull know this when the seat belt keeps locking up to keep u seated hahaha, but yer if ur on a budget look into them...

picperformance.com is their site.

Mugen, Zeal, even MEGAN racing do this.

But yes, afaik OHLINS are very very good.

Ohlins are top of range in suspension brand IMO!

Not many ppl could afford it or willing to buy it for their Honda as they are pricy!

Mugen is lower, they provide inverted Tie rods.

Zeal it is not completely flat but it is lower in height than most brands though.

Dunno bout megan, havent heard great things about them on the clubrsx forums, only complaints about them stuffing up.
