97 vti-r rear wheel hub bearing

Hub bearing is gone and am trying to sus out the abs rear wheel hub bearing, called woolloongabba honda and they tried to tell me that i have to get the hub assembly for a cheap $359.38 :thumbdwn:, can anyone shed some light regarding the purchase of just the wheel hub bearing?

you can get just the wheel bearing.
I brought one before for $80, it was a japanese brand can't rem what it was again.

my friend just blew his rear bearings.. needs to get the entire hub changed as they dont sell seperately for the rears.. well they do. but at 300bux

brand would be either Koyo, RTN, NSK etc

Atleast the rear is easy to replace - does not need to be pressed out etc. Its a 1 piece unit you can replace yourself.
