I paid $165 for RE001 in 205/55 R16 at Bob Jane Hornsby, so you should get 195/55 R15 for cheaper than that unless it is a special size.

at the same time apparently 205/50/15 is not as common as 205/55/15 aswell thus sometimes a bit more expensive then expected ... thought i mite add .. although i didnt think this was true lol

certain sizes are on special, not all sizes in that tyre .. my tyre size didnt fall into the specials lol costs bout 40-60bux more cos wasnt on special

if you go from 195/50 to 195/55 and your car your speedo is calibrated for 185/60R14 which is closer to 195/50 than 55, worst case scenerio will be you'll use up most of the speedo's margin so the indicated speed is very close to true speed.

to confirm this borrow a GPS nav unit and see what the true speed is at the indicated speedo reading.

I could do with a pair of new 195/50R15 after thrashing them on the track, but I'll wait till the next specials at BTC which hopefully will be the 195/50 size.

They are now made in Aust and the costings are even lower for them, so I expect to see them on specials at least 2-3 times a year, bit like the Castrol 5w30 are often heavily discounted at supercheap auto.

yeah when they were on specials 3 mths ago the 195/50 was $119 minus RAC membership discount I paid $446 for the set to go on my ED9 crx, normal price around $140 a tyre.

these are out of stock in NSW apparently...

ordered mine 2 weeks ago and was supposed to get em in last saturday but apparently didn't arrive in their delivery coz out of stock from warehouse.

Not sure if this affects all NSW but for the NSW guys order them now.. they said theres a chance they won't have any until next month but because I pre-ordered this month during the promo I will retain the special pricing of $119 as they will go back to ~$180 after

yeah i'm thinking about it as the toyo proxes 205/50/15 at my fronts will goto my rear.. the fronts mite look a bit weird with 195/55/15
