The rule goes something like, you can't get compliance for a vehicle so similar to what is already sold here. Sucks bad

I heart the SSS

Whats compliance?Iin saying that we get absolutly rode for tax's on imports,ky jelly is a must when it comes to registration and insurance.

Ive 4 cousins living in melbourne and one of them's just after moving back home here and he cant believe how expensive it is with cars compared to there.

Here's the Ek4 - It was a uk spec vti B16a,nice runabout car kept it standard enough

And the Dc2 -It Was a 2000,the most uncomfortable car ever,Tein SS' were a bitch in it but it was a quick just rotten as a daily driver

http://i27.tinypic.com/1zv7cox.jpg

Dc5 was lovely car to drive but it seemed to have been ragged to death by the previous owner, still a car id like to own again

No pics of the ek9 which was a short stint, theres new rules coming in place here from the 1st of july so your cars tax's are based on Co2 emmissions, there was a big fuss at the start and i wanted the Accord so went for it while the going was good!

Hey there,missed this somehow:wave:.

How`s the car going now since you`ve had her a few weeks?

Would look into getting one hopefully next year myself when i get home.

What did the VRT amount to for it?

Its great i love it!

I only got it Nct'd so was waiting untill then before adding any mods.

Fitted a set of tein coilovers and currently debating on what airbox to go for altho (i seen another R rolling roaded recently with the k+n typhoon kit and got some silly increase,13bhp or there abouts!) I had a chance of a skunk2 exhaust for cheap money but not sure if i want the extra attention the garda are on abit of a crackdown here at the minute.

Going to get it rolling roaded in the next week or so and decide where to go from there.

Vrt cost me €4262! And from Tuesday Vrt is based on co2 emmissions, the euro r (and nearly all other vtecs fall into the highest band so vrt on the Euro R will rise to 36% from 30%)

The countrys in abit of a slow patch at the minute, with recession immenent and things not looking good make sure to bring plenty of dollars back with you!
