you need more than just the door trim.

im sure you need the whole wire harness for the power windows

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..

having the door trims is only giving you the trim itself.

you gotta have the window lifting mechanism/motor + the wiring harness that gives it the power.. not too sure where the connects too but yeah..

having the door trim on its own won't help..

Ok, you need:

door trim
regulator
switches
wiring pigtails
window motorsYou dont really need the harness, you only really need to run two wires across the car and a single wire to power. Otherwise you can get the door harness and floor harness and hook it all up.

Yep. Just find a pair of ek doors with power windows and you should be set.

i looked into this... for the effort u put in the results are minimal!! i had the idea of buying one of the ebay kits... and getting OEM VTIR or GLI door trims and using the original buttons to keep it clean looking. never really persued it much further!

It actually isnt all that hard, particularly if you run your own wiring (which isnt difficult).

You dont need the whole door, just what is listed. Depending on how you go about doing it, should be around the couple of hundred dollar mark.

Just wondering if the floor harness is necessary? or can I just run power cable across to the passenger side? What would be the advantage of the floor harness?

No, floor harness is not required unless you want an OEM install. There is no need to run the power cable to the passengers side though.
