6.5-7" All-in-one GPS/TV/DVD/DIVX head unit.

Anyone here have similar head units installed in their car? It's a double din head unit, dvd, avi/divx playback, mp3, runs gps, ipod integration, bluetooth etc.

hell thats easy. google chinese audio suppliers and you will get 100s of them.

they will want you to buy 25 or so though as samples.

my advice is stay clear of those cheap units, you pretty much pay for what you get literally. if not instantly in a short while of use u'll discover loads of issues with them, brand does make a big difference when it comes to electronics.
i had a cheap indash monitor before with remote, it made an annoying beep everytime it turned on, issues with the remote, the motorized screen had faults this was purchased from ebay to.

i think they look weird... cos they made it look like someone's gone and made a DIY mount for the tomtom because instead of integrating the whole thing into a coherent/single design, it still looks like they stuck a tomtom onto a headunit. :S

as for ebay electronics.. i've learnt that what looks good on paper doesn't always translate into what u expect when u get it in the mail. this would probably apply even moreso to items which require substantial amounts of user interaction (i.e. a good interface). try a chinese-designed mobile phone for example and compare it to nokia/SE/etc... the interface may look pretty in screenshots......
