what do you guys think about brand new driveshafts from pedders? How do they compare to reconditioned OEM driveshafts?

i know that pedders will charge you a arm and leg for brand driveshafts and take the other leg for installation.

What does reconditioned actuality mean? Do they just replace the faulty part and leave the rest as it is? Do they replace the part that is dead with brand new parts or will they replace it with second hand parts. So if i'm going to purchase reconditioned driveshafts will i get brand new cv joints and boots?

reco'd driveshafts are just that. They knock the CV end off the driveshaft , replace with a new unit and then new boots either end.

just get a reconditioned one.its like new.reconditioning a part means getting it back to its as new state.the pedders ones are overpriced for something that is exactly the same
