3" pod onto 2.5" cai

I want to put a 3" k&n on my 2.5" cai to replace a dodgy pod filter. Can anyone give me some ideas?

Not sure what you mean by ideas?
The 3" pod rubber neck should tighten up with the hose clamp and be fine.
You can get step down adapters but it's only .5 inch so wouldn't bother.

Get a silicone hose about 2.75" diameter, put that over the pipe, then put the pod over the hose and cai and clamp it down.

or go to an exhaust shop and get them to custom make you a pipe with an enlarged end. and plus, you can get it bent into any shape/size you need. only problem is its a bit heavier though

or get some rubber from Clark rubber... i got myself a long 1mm thick adhesive strip and kept wrapping until the pod sits nicely.

or use a 2.5inch K&N filter... using one with a 3inch neck wont get any gains...
