radiator fan

is the radiator fan meant to kick in once the car has warmed up? because mine didn't and then i took it for a drive around the block and it still wasn't on.

last night the car almost overheated all the coolant was gone and i replaced it with water to drive home and the temp was fine.

make sure its plugged in first i guess, see if the wires for the fan have been damaged

figured it out, it was my thermostat

stuck closed? would have thought the fan would still kick in, just run continuously

yeah it wouldnt open but dont know about the fan not kicking in, works fine now though.
