Hey guys, wanted to know what the difference was between the OEM slimline visors from honda and the mugen window visors ..

The prices difference is HUGE .. is there any justification for it?

I've got the mugen, .......slimline, much more stylish......

Paid $270, but from memory the honda ones are around $200.

I was going to leave off the rear, but they look so goog I put them on after all.......

can you explain how it is much more stylish?

The honda ones are $100. That's retail price too.

its because his a JDM whore, joking.

mugen ones have a nice 'mugen' emblem on them
think they might be darker and feel stronger than oem ones

Do some research on interest for mugen's one, and then compare with OEM one, u will find why they pay more!

so basically the obvious differences between the 2 would be their tint.

So anyway, NEW question.

do you think the euro looks good with visors?

IMO the ones with the "indents" are really very ugly and the ones without the "indents" are just plain ugly. The euro has such clean lines why spoil them for a few drops of rain every now and then? :thumbdwn:

just remember that the visors go over the chrome trim.

i personally don't like the look of the weather visors as i think it wrecks the lines of the euro and how it covers only part of the chrome trim, which looks a bit odd when you only see chrome here and there where the visors don't reach the end of the doors

hooyn

tape up the chrome trim + visors looks naice. probably do that when i get a set

Ugly or not, it depends on the owner, but I dont like the wind noise it makes and it probably increase the aero dynamics drag :p

Another thing, how would rain get in if you dont open the windows when its raining?

The mugen visors clip securely to the door and yes looks better...IMO. I got them from Singapore and they came up to about $200 AUD.

lol so these induce more wind noise when cruising?
cos its hard enough to listen to anything with windows open unless u crank it lol.

tron07
03-06-2008, 11:01 AM
some people dont mind the noise... if you can cruise/drive around with the windows an inch down, then you should be fine with the wind noise.

Crapdaz
03-06-2008, 11:09 AM
yeh but $200+ for windshields...... *sigh*
