removing amber lense dye

Sup guys

I painted my blinkers... with amber lense dye!

And i want to remove it and do the inside insted.. Makes more sense

Now how do i go about removing the dye..

I don't think white spirit is strong enough..

I got some paint stripper (heavy duty) but it says it'll have "adverse effects" on plastics..

Any one got any ideas :S

I suggest you use an acetone-free based paint stripper, from memory they react the least with plastics, as opposed to ones that are acetone based as i would assume they would possibly make your headlights misty from plastic degradation.
methylated spirits should work ok on your headlights, just don't go overboard.
