If you provide generic or non-oem filters for your honda services will they throw a fit? Can you install it yourself and tell them you don't want it changed?

do it yourself learning is a good thing, couple of bolts and clips here and there.
but if you're not very hands on then get someone else not Honda too expensive for Honda i reckon.

You will get the stamp. Just tell them you have bought your own parts. Heck, install it yourself.
