Engine bay bolts Not coloured?

Hey guys

just curious if there are any bolts in the s2k engine bay that are not coloured??
Ive inspected one today and it looks to be in really good nic but there are 2 matching bolts on the front of the engine bay along the guard rail area with no paint on it at all.

Just wondering if thats normal for S2k or its coz its been in an accident

yes that is normal, there should be 2 brass coloured bolts near the front of the engine bay.

Those bolts dont actually hold the fender to the car, they screw into the brackets that secure the headlight in place.

Be weary when looking at bolts to ensure they havent been repainted over. Most panel beaters will try and disguise a repair this way.

But they always leave runny marks on the bolts - well thats how I tell.
