Hey people...
I was interested in swaping my engine in my 94 Integra.
It currently has a b18c engine but i was wanting to but a k24a3 into it.
What do you people think??
Is it a big job putting the engine in?
How many Kws would it pull?
Does anyone know where i can get a engine like that in the Sydney Area?
Thanks:)

... if ur thinking.. "just get the motor and chuck it in it will be sweet" no ur wrong.. your going to be parts... ALOT OF PARTS!!
Complete new fuel setup
Rariator and new rad location
clutch line
conversion harness (hybrid-racing, rywire, r-crew etc)
all the usual engine bits of course..

yep, exactly that.
its a no straight forward swap. just look at the setup of the engine compared to B-series. intake and headers are being rotated back to front. air filter position, engine mounts, radiator mounts + hoses, electrical. etc.

I got a quote from one place for a k24a3 2007 10,000km $2200
The k20 gearbox is the hard thing to get. I got a quote for gearbox and loom and intake $2000
And install about $1500 from a good friend of mine. Dr Honda wants about 3grands to install
I am getting prices first...
How much do think I can sell my b18c2 with exhaust, extractors, Fuel reg, Cam gear, Bigger Intake Manifold, Vtec Controller, and Radiator and other parts???

But its goes have as much kws and a stock k24 and cost more to get more power... Plus k24 lot cheaper...

Sorry it doesnt have as much kws

for that price .. yes it is cheap but Dr.Honda knows what his doing cause he has experience with the engine also he uses quality parts so even if his more expensive you will your car will be perfectly running and tuned.. but its your choice also if you know what ur "friend mechanic" knows what his doing then go for it and keep us posted GL
