i just had a headgasket change, car was pretty good for a while, just noticed now that there is water/condensate spiting out of the exhaust, and seems like some water under the oil cap too, oil looks funny. There doesnt seem to be much difference in the radiator water levels. Could it be a case of one of the hoses put on the wrong way or something else like thermostat or water pump? Engine is b18c head b20 block.
thanks

its normal.
In combustion (the engine cycle) there is several by products that emit from the muffler
Carbon monoxide , water and soot.

yeah i know what you are talking about, but its not like that. Its there contantly, and "spits" occasionally. Also under the oil cap it looks milky like when a head gasket goes.

hmm thats not good. Are you sure its just not excess fluid from when the HG actually went ? How does the car actually run ? Does it overheat ?
IF it runs fine let it go for a day or two and see if the "water/oil" gets burnt off.
Keep a constant look at your coolant reservoir (the level , make sure it dosent drop ) - if it aint going to good then take it back ASAP to your mechanic.
PErhaps the head isnt torqued properly and its starting to warp again

pretty sure it was 84mm, for the b20 block
also just noticed that there was like an air leak from one of the hoses to the charcoal canister, could that cause this?

My car normally spits some water/condensation out of the exhaust during colder months. And I have white shit all over my engine... LOL it's coolant, but I spilt it there.
